Double Exposure

Double Exposure is something which Blackjack Player should know about as double exposure is an important part of the game. Double Exposure is when both dealers cards are open. This means the player can look at them. This in turn means a player has access to that information. Information means power. And so the player can now have more power than the banker.

Because Double Exposure gives an advantage to the player, something has to be done to restore parity. Blackjack History records massive upheaval to blackjack strategy die to double exposure. Rules

The usual rules are the same as standard Blackjack, except:  

• Both dealer cards are exposed.

• Player may split only once.

• Dealer hits or stands on soft 17.
• Player may or may not double on any first two cards.
• Player may or may not double after a split.

• Player may split more than once.
• Player may or may not split 10 value cards.

Double exposure has been one of the greatest innovations to the game. Other innovations to the game which didn't work as well were the use of see through cards and the players having to sing between hands. Double exposure was also turned into a movie about a blackjack player who finds himself with a huge debt when he loses a million dollar hand.

There are advantages and disadvantages to Blackjack double exposure. So you should maximize the good points and minimize the bad ones.
